About West Home
Located in choice neighborhoods, West Home operates apartment-hotels for contemporary travelers seeking soulful stay experiences beyond typical extended stay accommodations. We welcome guests for stays ranging from two (2) nights to a year+, and any duration in between. We merge the consistency and resources achieved at hotel flag scale with the space, privacy, and amenities of high-end apartment rentals. What You’ll Do
Reporting directly to senior leadership, we are looking for a Hospitality Intern who is passionate about the cross section of real estate, design, and technology to support our local operational initiatives. Our team is very lean and we each wear a variety of hats, so this position presents the opportunity to get exposure to every facet of our business. No day at West Home is the same and as such we would expect you to be able to efficiently multi-task, stay organized, ask questions, and thrive in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
Support our local Atlanta operational initiatives working directly with senior leadership
Assist in local business development, research and analysis initiatives
Respond to day-to-day tenant/guest requests, issues and other outreach
Assist our design team in the build out, logistics efforts and staging efforts for new projects
Perform unit departure and arrival audits and inventory checks to ensure that our brand standards are met consistently, and quick feedback is provided to our vendors
Travel to West Home properties throughout the local market
Assist with day-to-day ad hoc operations tasks, such as managing in-unit needs that range from troubleshooting systems and appliances, conduct minor repairs (broken towel racks, replacing light bulbs, etc.), overseeing contractor appointments

Community and culture is our focus, so a passion for art, design, traveling and community engagement is important
Ability to stay organized, and effectively manage/prioritize multiple projects
Desire to contribute, ask questions, and ask for help with needed
Maintain high levels of professionalism while interacting with tenants/guests, our team members, and our vendors

Compensation: Hourly, determined based on experience
Duration: 3-5 days per week, flexible hours with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role
