About
The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for formulating, monitoring, forecasting and communicating strategic and financial analysis of the property portfolio. This position will collaborate across the organization to oversee property-level business plans that maximize the value of retail assets under management at SITE Centers.
Essential Job Functions
Collaborate with leasing, construction, legal, and property management to formulate, implement, and communicate property-level business plans
Maintain asset-level and portfolio-wide financial projections
Assist in evaluating redevelopment and other value creation opportunities
Update reporting & marketing materials for internal and external users including lenders, equity investors, and Board of Directors
Assist in the maintenance and revision of the Company’s corporate financial model
Conduct various financial analyses on public REIT securities including both equities and debt
Stay abreast of industry trends, transactional activity and outside research perspectives related to the retail real estate markets
Advance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
Additional Duties And Responsibilities
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed
Required Qualifications
Education, Training and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in real estate or finance with one plus years of commercial real estate asset management experience and strong financial modeling skills using Excel and/or Argus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Personal Characteristics
Strong understanding of financing principles and basic capital structures, ideally with a real estate focus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal, and ability to build relationships across the organization.
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills, preferably using Excel or Argus.
Positive and dependable team member who is willing to help others to ensure that collectively the team meets its goals
Success in multi-tasking while maintaining a strong attention to detail and desire to perform projects and actions with the highest quality results
Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Participation in the CFA program preferred
Preferred Qualifications
High-level proficiency in the various Microsoft Office applications and/or Argus Enterprise.
Prior experience in Brokerage, Capital Markets, or Real Estate.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Nature of work requires an ability to analyze, communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, and operate standard business office equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work performed in a general office environment. May require extended hours during peak periods. Availability for travel up to 10% of the time.
