Job Description
The Analyst in Blackstone’s Real Estate Asset Management Group is responsible for supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of the Asset Management team.
Typically, this will include financial analysis, modeling, research, competitive analysis, development of presentations, assistance in the execution of transactions, and drafting of memoranda for internal and external use. Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including leasing, divestitures, restructurings and recapitalizations.
Analysts at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and can expect to be staffed on a number of assignments at one time. Analysts are expected to assume integral roles on deal teams and are intimately involved with the development, structuring, and financing of transactions and regularly attend both client and internal meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.
Qualifications
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Qualifications for this role include, but are not limited to:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ideally within the Real Estate sector
A demonstrated ability to write effectively, and a desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior investment banking experience and a basic knowledge of accounting, finance and real estate are highly desirable.
