Experience Level
This is an entry-level position and an ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with 1-2 years of experience in real estate, finance, marketing, equity research. MBA students will be considered for this position as well.
Responsibilities Include
Develop 5-10 page investment summaries and marketing packages
Conduct project level and market research from various databases including: Costar, Apartments.com, Appraisal sources, Brokers and more
Creating sale & rent comp tables with pictures
Calling local municipalities to determine permitted uses based on the current zoning
Vetting new acquisitions through excel templates and inputting demographic information
Perform ad-hoc tasks such as institutional research reports, market analysis, relationship outreach, cold-calling, etc.
Job Requirements
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must have a strong command of the English language and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Extreme attention to detail
Competency or strong interest in financial statement analysis, valuation, accounting and finance
Competency in marketing and outreach design
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks
Collaborative, team-oriented individual with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism
Ability to work long hours when necessary
Must have outstanding initiative and be a self-starter
Education Level
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, English, Business Administration, Marketing
