Job Description
Responsibilities
• Conduct annual marketing study of the Indiana Apartment Market
• Respond to requests for information and analysis to help coordinate client information
• Review the team’s database and assist with keeping client contact information updated
• Conduct various research on properties and clients for multifamily departments
• Type and design general correspondences, memos, proposals, agreements, charts, tables, graphs
Requirements
• Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be comfortable conducting phone surveys
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a highly professional presence, be a strong relationship builder and value an entrepreneurial environment
• Must be analytical and a creative problem solver
• Must be a self-starter, who is reliable, and gets things done as efficiently as possible
• Must be great as an individual contributor as well as a team player
• Must have strong PC skills (Microsoft Office) with the ability to use best industry technology to obtain latest market research, historical information, and trends
Physical Requirements
• Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
• May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
• Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work
• Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented verbally and in writing
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and verbally so others will understand
• Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
