Position Info
Bridge Investment Group's Construction & Development Team is hiring rising seniors for the Construction & Development Summer Analyst position in Salt Lake City, Utah for Summer 2021. Bridge's Summer Analyst Program offers unique exposure, within one of the fastest-growing global real estate private equity firms, to learn about managing ground-up development projects across the country. Bridge's fast-growing entrepreneurial culture means the Construction & Development Summer Analyst will be expected to take lead and contribute on assigned projects, working closely with company leadership and other interns on company-wide initiatives throughout the program.
Responsibilities of the Construction & Development Summer Analyst will be to:
Support our team in various functions of the development process, including reviewing cost comparisons, budgets, project schedules, and assisting in project management activities
Work directly with development sponsors and managing directors in a client-facing role
Assist in developing systems and processes to manage large-scale developments across the country
Participate in project meetings and give insight into design and construction practices
Help create database cost reports and provide input into construction costs
Qualifications
Candidates should be highly-motivated with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to thriving in a fast-paced, client-facing role and having strong communication skills, a successful candidate should have:
Desire to excel within construction and development
Graduation date of 2022 (undergraduate students only)
Pursing a degree in Construction Management or similar field
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Understanding of development, design, and construction practices
Excellent oral communication skills and interest in client service
A self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves attitude with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills
Passion for learning and growth with a mindset that no task is too small
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
